City Church is being planted out of a deep conviction that the Church belongs in the heart of the city. What began as a vision in the leadership of Westerville Church of the Nazarene has grown into a shared calling among our passionate church plant team who believe God is moving in Columbus.
We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ changes everything — transforming lives, restoring families, and renewing neighborhoods. The light of Christ shines brightest in the places that need it most, and we are stepping into that hope with faith and expectation.
This site is just the beginning. As of March 1, 2026, we are laying the foundation — building relationships in the neighborhood, partnering with local leaders, serving at community events, and gathering a core team who sense the same call to see a vibrant, Spirit-led church established on the South Side of Columbus.
With the Spirit’s guidance, we’ll soon begin consistent ministry in the community as we prayerfully move toward a Fall 2026 launch.
